The trail is ideal for active outdoor enthusiasts who want to experience the Finnish Lakeland in its most pristine form, in a sustainable manner. This could be done by anyone in a reasonably good physical condition and ability to swim (compulsory). Prior experience in fatbiking or kayaking is not necessary. Experienced kayakers can opt for the whole-day kayaking trails in Kolovesi and Linnansaari national park.
