DAY 1: Arrival in Helsinki

  • Arrival at the Helsinki airport and private transfer to the city accommodation. We have the rest of the day for major sightseeing attractions in Helsinki. In the evening, enjoy the colorful white night maritime vibes of Design city Helsinki, also known as the "Daughter of the Baltic", with dinner and drinks at one of the beautiful summer restaurants such as the uber-cool seafront modern seaside sauna, Löyly by the seashore (optional).

DAY 2: UNESCO Medieval City of Tallinn

  • Breakfast. Transfer to Helsinki ferry terminal to board the cruise to Tallinn, the Baltic capital of Estonia. The UNESCO heritage city of Old Tallinn is one of the best-preserved medieval Hanseatic cities in the world. With narrow cobbled alleys, tall spires, and beautiful Hanseatic architecture, it’s no wonder that Tallinn’s Old Town is a UNESCO World Heritage site. We have a private transfer from the Tallinn ferry terminal to the Tallinn Old Town where we have There is a possibility to join on a free walking tour where we will meet our street performer-tour guide for a unique immersive tour combining traditional guiding with street performance and storytelling, taking us on a splendid journey back in time through the colorful Hanseatic history of the medieval town. After the tour, we have the chance to dine in one of the popular medieval Hanseatic restaurants with an amazing medieval ambiance with a menu inspired by delicious, authentic Hansa-era meals and drinks, and authentic period music. All of the dishes on the menu, including the many wild game delicacies, are cooked using 15th-century recipes and methods.(Optional add on) In the evening, we have a transfer to the ferry terminal for the cruise back to Helsinki. DAY 3: Helsinki Highlights

DAY 4-5: The Archipelago Life

  • Breakfast and checkout Private transfer to Barösund, the archipelago town in the western part of Inkoo, an hour's drive from Helsinki, strewn with stunning islands, reefs, and islets. Check-in to our boutique archipelago hotel located amidst beautiful nature. We have the evening at leisure to enjoy the hotel's wonderful terrace where we can sit back and relax with a glass of champagne and the beach sauna (optional add-on) from which we can jump into the sea. In the evening, we have the chance to enjoy a decadent Nature to Table-inspired four-course Chef's menu featuring seasonal ingredients and fresh produce from local farms at the hotel restaurant (Optional add-on). Optional activities such as Nature picnic, wellness-massage sessions, fishing, easy guided hiking, boating or day trips to Archipelago towns can be arranged on request.

DAY 6: Land of Thousand Lakes

  • Breakfast and checkout. We have a private transfer to the nearest train station from where we would board the train to Lakeland Saimaa, the largest Lakeland district in Europe. On arrival at Mikkeli, we would be picked up and have a stop at Mikkeli Tertti Manor house cafe-restaurant famous for its natural setting and Garden-to-Table dining concept or visit Kenkävero, a beautiful history rectory featuring boutique designer shops and artisanal products. We continue to our boutique resort in the middle of the beautiful Linnansaari national park. Experience a taste of subtle Lakeland luxury staying in a luxury panoramic suite on Lake Saimaa, at the boutique Järvisydän lake resort, dating back to 1685, built in a unique medieval style made from stones and over 500 years old sinker logs recovered from the bottom of the local lake and river bottoms. We have the evening at leisure to enjoy the unique nature spa-sauna, at the magical setting of Lake Saimaa built from natural stone and sinkholes that are over 500 years old with multiple saunas including the salt sauna.

DAY 7: Cruise to Linnansaari Island & Valamo Wine Tasting

  • Breakfast. The traditional wooden boat will take us to one of the most beautiful places in Lake Saimaa, the island destination of Linnansaari, admiring Lake Saimaa's forested archipelago with close to 14000 islands. Europe’s fourth-largest lake, Saimaa, in the summer, is a tapestry of rich blues and vibrant greens. Its narrow straits lead into wide open waters which are scattered throughout with forest-covered islands and quiet beaches and hemmed on all sides by boreal woodland and rocky cliffs. We can enjoy an easy walk (non-guided) on the well-marked trails and enjoy our picnic before returning to the mainland. In the evening, we have a small wine-tasting session in the resort cellar tasting the monastic berry wines prepared by the monks of the Russian Karelian Orthodox Valamo Monastery.

DAY 8: Yacht Cruise & Nature Spa

  • Breakfast We have the day at leisure to enjoy the nature trails or nature spa In the late afternoon, embark on a premium yacht cruise admiring the evening sun Optional trip to Savonlinna castle or Kerimäki wooden church (the biggest wooden church in the world can be arranged on request).

DAY 9: Departure

  • Breakfast & checkout Return transfer to Mikkeli where we take the train to Helsinki for onward international departure (Alternatively transfer to Kuopio airport can be arranged as well).
