Breakfast In the morning, embark on a thrilling husky sleigh adventure, riding in the wilderness with our authentic Siberian huskies! Driving a team of huskies over the white, shimmering fells is an exhilarating experience that is almost mandatory during a trip to Lapland. Sense the feeling of freedom as we breathe in the fresh winter air, leaving paw prints behind on the snowy trails. The eager dogs run at full speed and the sled glides effortlessly over the snowdrifts with the skids hissing softly. The lead dog turns to look at us at a crossroads – right of left? Mush! This is an experience that we will never forget! Dinner (included).
Breakfast. What does a reindeer eat in the fells in the wintertime? What does a reindeer’s muzzle feel like? How does a reindeer survive outside in -45 degrees centigrade? It is time to find out! In the morning, we set off to meet a Sámi reindeer herder who will inform us about the reindeer and the Sámi people. And of course, we get to drive a reindeer sleigh through the snowy forest. Sit down into the sleigh, signal the reindeer – and hold on! Now we get to see how Laplanders used to move around before snowmobiles arrived in the northern wilderness. Riding a reindeer sleigh through the wintry forest is an experience that seldom comes around in one’s life! The pace is calm and the guests can relax, breathe in the fresh air and listen to the soundscape of the arctic wilderness.
